AEROmass-Project
Abstract description
The AEROmass project aims to develop innovative methods for the analysis of single-particle aerosols for environmental, process, and safety applications. The focus is on the precise chemical and physical characterization of aerosol particles to enhance our understanding of their impacts on the environment and safety. New approaches for the examination of airborne particles, such as dust, pollutants, and biological pathogens, are being developed. These technologies are intended to be employed particularly in environmental monitoring and in safety-critical areas such as personal protection and forensic analysis. Through close collaboration with research institutions, such as the University of Rostock, the project seeks to advance the application of these analytical methods to gain new insights into aerosols and to identify their associated risks at an early stage.
